Exhibition The Way of My Life
The year 2020 commemorates a very special event for Christians: the 100th anniversary of Karol Wojtyła – St. John Paul II’s birth on May 18.It is to him, on his birthday, that we would like to present and dedicate this exhibition.
In the first part of the exhibition we meet Karol’s closest relatives, i.e. parents and siblings. For them, he was simply Lolek – a beloved son and brother.
In the second part – we look at places very special for Karol, we get to know the environments that shaped him and the people among whom and with whom he experienced his childhood and youth.
The guide to the reality cited at this exhibition is St. Pope John Paul II. His words, which he spoke to us here in his homeland, or wrote in his memories of past years, will allow us to get to know him better.
Let’s think about his way of life – the path of Karol Wojtyła’s life from Wadowice – through Krakow and the surrounding area – to the whole world. An extraordinary and not easy path – let us thank God’s Providence for her today!
